THANKSGIVING FAST FRIDAY

THEME: THANKSGIVING WITH PSALMS
TEXT: PSALM 95:2 “Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with Psalms.”
Blessings beloved,
Thank GOD we have come to the last Friday of February 2023. This is the month and weekend we had been waiting for regarding our nation Nigeria as we go to the polls tomorrow.
We have spent some of the Fridays within the month to fast and pray for our nation Nigeria. Today, being the last Friday of the month, we want to return with our gratitude and thanksgiving to the LORD for answered prayers.
We will be thanking GOD for the things He has done regarding Nigeria and we will be using Psalms to give Him glory, honour and majesty even as we wait joyfully for the change we desire.
Psalm 105:1-3 “Give praise to the LORD, tell of all His wonderful acts. Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice.”
Psalm 116:17 “I will sacrifice a thank offering to You and call on the name of the LORD.”
Psalm 95:1-2 “Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song.”
Psalm 118:19 “Open to me the gates of the righteous; I will enter and give thanks to the LORD.”
Psalm 75:1 “We give thanks to You, O GOD, we give You thanks! For Your wondrous works declare that Your name is near. “
Psalm 34:1-3 “I will bless the LORD at all times;
His praise will always be on my lips. I will glory in the LORD; let the afflicted hear and rejoice.
Magnify the LORD with me; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 138:1-2 “I thank you, LORD, with all my heart; I sing praise to You before the gods. I face Your holy Temple, bow down, and praise Your name because of Your constant love and faithfulness, because You have shown that Your name and Your commands are supreme.”
Psalm 26:7 “That I may proclaim with the voice of Thanksgiving, And tell of all Your wondrous works.”
Dig into the Psalms today dear people of GOD. Let us give Him thanks via the Psalms. As we do so today, may the blessings, counsel and promises of GOD’s word in Jeremiah 30:19 rest over us as a nation and people in JESUS’ name:
“And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of those who make merry; I will multiply them, and they shall not diminish (be few); I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small”. Amen and Amen!
As the LORD and His Spirit lives;
• Nigeria shall be great again.
• Out of Nigeria will come the sound of thanksgiving and rejoicing as we go to the polls and from it emerge the blessings of Abba in the form of a leader chosen by Him and the restoration of our land and the dignity of the people.
• Father we declare Your goodness over Nigeria and her people. Thank You for healing our land of corruption, bloodshed, idolatry and iniquity of every kind.
• LORD, bless our land and her people, let this season bring us into the fulfillment of prophecies earlier told. Let this season bring us closer to You.
• Father, cause greatness and good news to come forth out of Nigeria and her people. Make us a great people and nation again. This election season, cause us to rejoice in JESUS’ name.
• Father, let Your Kingdom come and Your will alone be done in Nigeria Amen.
To our duty posts dear people of GOD. May the LORD accept our Thanksgiving praise and gratitude over Nigeria Amen.
