THURSDAY PRAYER FOR OUR FEMALE CHILDREN
Thursday 15th April 2021.
A blessed new day to all mums, dads and all lovers of the well-being of our female children. I salute every parent-intercessor who is faithfully committing GOD’s heritage in their care to constant and daily prayers.
To the glory of GOD, another Thursday has dawned, reminding us of our assignment to speak to the LORD and also hear from Him concerning the destinies of our daughters.
Our girls will be tested along their journey in life just as we have been tested, however, we (and they) are not to be afraid because tests are a part of life. What is important though is that they come out triumphant from such tests. Help for success and victory over all of life’s tests and challenges can be found only in GOD. Indeed, Psalm 124:8 (NLT) says it all- “Our help is from the LORD who made heaven and earth.”
In 1 Kings Chapter 10, (please let us take time to meditate on verses 1-13) the Queen of Sheba came to test Solomon with HARD QUESTIONS just because she had heard of his fame, which brought honour to the LORD. The Queen of Sheba I guess was used to being the cynosure of all eyes, but her kingdom was now being overshadowed by the buzz created by GOD in favour of Solomon and the kingdom of Israel so she decided to come and see for herself, she prepared herself and mapped out a strategy of hard questions BUT GOD deflated her plans! She went back convinced of GOD’s awesomeness in Solomon’s life and in GOD’s people and she never questioned or troubled Solomon again because what she saw and experienced shut her up forever!
Same way are some hard situations waiting to confront our girls deliberately. We will be praying for help for them from the LORD.
LET US PRAY:
● That for whatever tests may be coming to confront our daughters in life, THEY WILL BE PREPARED AND HAVE THE RIGHT ANSWERS.
● That nothing will be too difficult for our daughters to unravel and demystify because the wisdom of GOD will be at their disposal.
● That our daughters will be excellent people. That everything they do will be a marvel to all.
● That the grace of GOD will be evident in their lives without gainsaying such that it will be evident that they are daughters of the Most High!
● That by the conduct of our daughters, GOD will be magnified.
The bible says that a man’s gifts makes a way for him. Therefore LET US PRAY:
● That the giftings and abilities of our daughters will make a way for them in life.
● That just as the Queen of Sheba returned to her own land convinced and quietened, every test our daughters encounter will be avenues for the glory of GOD to be seen and such situations will be silenced forever with due attestation given to GOD in their lives-Amen!
Like I encourage us always, there is always so much more the Holy Spirit will reveal to anyone who will connect with Him in the place of genuine and heartfelt prayers through the scriptures HE reveals and speaks through each Thursday. The prayers raised here are not all encompassing as the Holy Spirit is always ready to outdo Himself through more revelation as we press in! Let us get to our duty posts as GOD is ready to touch our daughters’ lives. Let us therefore present our requests to Him.
As we pray, may there be answers and testimonials in the lives of our daughters now and in the future always in JESUS’ name-Amen.
