FAST FRIDAY FOR FIRSTBORNS FRIDAY 3RD JUNE 2022 THEME: SHEPHERD AND LEAD MY FIRSTBORN O LORD TEXT: REVELATION 7:17 “For the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And GOD will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
Welcome to June of Joyful Discernment beloved parent-intercessors.
Father GOD has given us a word to steer us all in the right direction this month. Our key text of focus and meditation in the ministry is Proverbs 5:1-2 (NLT) “My son, pay attention to my wisdom; listen carefully to my wise counsel. Then you will show discernment, and your lips will express what you’ve learned.”
If we look at the two scriptures already referenced in today’s manual, we will see a correlation. As we pray today as well, I would like us to also read, meditate on and pray with Psalm 23 for our children and we will come together at the fast breaking meeting to do justice to the prayers together.
In the meantime, let us pray:
That our firstborns and by extension our other children will be shepherded all their lives by JESUS the Lamb of GOD
That our firstborns and by extension our other children will be led by the shepherd daily to living fountains of water where their thirst for all things in righteousness will be quenched.
That our firstborns and by extension our other children will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
That our firstborns and by extension our other children will take advantage of the water of life that is freely available in CHRIST and partake deeply of it till their thirst is quenched.
That as our firstborns and by extension our other children journey with their Lamb and Shepherd, every tear and sorrow will be wiped off their destiny journeys and these ones will enjoy the goodness and gifts that accrue from being in GOD’s presence.
That our firstborns and by extension our other children will find in the company of the Shepherd the joy, restoration, rejuvenation and all their destiny journeys require.
To our duty posts beloved parents. May our children be lead in paths of righteousness, may their hunger and thirst be filled as they behold the Lamb Amen.
