FAST FRIDAY FOR FIRSTBORNS. FRIDAY 27 OCTOBER 2023. THEME: CHART THE PATH OF LIFE FOR MY FIRSTBORN O LORD. TEXT: JOHN 14:6 “JESUS answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Good news day beloved parent-intercessors. Welcome to another Fast Friday. Though it is supposed to be a thanksgiving Fast Friday, yet we will pray concerning what the LORD is leading us to pray for and we will also give Him thanks for same.
You would have noticed that it’s been a while since we came together to pray on this altar. Today, we return to this altar of prayer with our gratitude to the One who has faithfully kept us and all our children.
Our fast and prayers for today will be for us to ask the LORD to lead our firstborns and by extension our other children to know what path in life will provide the most meaning and fulfillment for them in GOD. We will be asking the Father to lead these ones along the best pathway for their lives. This path is essential for our children to know, especially because there are many ways but their focus must be on the will/path of GOD for them.
Let us meditate on, pray with and thank GOD with these scriptures:
Matthew 7:13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.”
Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.”
Psalm 16:11 “You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.”
Psalm 119:105 “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”
Pray:
Father, I ask that You will show my firstborn and by extension my other children the right path in life.
Father, guide my children by Your word. Guide them by Your counsel. Lead them to the best path for their lives in JESUS’ name Amen.
To your duty posts beloved parent-intercessors. May the Father hear and heed our requests this day and always because we have asked according to His word and in the name of His Son, our LORD JESUS CHRIST Amen.
