FAST FRIDAY FOR FIRSTBORNS FRIDAY 4TH NOVEMBER 2022 THEME: GUIDANCE INTO DESTINY TRUTH TEXT: PROVERBS 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Welcome to November and welcome back to the Fast Friday Sessions for our firstborns. Today we want to pray that our firstborns and by extension our other children be guided into their destiny truth.
It is important that our children have clarity on who they are so they can understand the path of life Father GOD is taking them on. There is a path in destiny already charted by GOD for our children. There is a blueprint that should guide their journeys. We want to pray today that GOD by His Spirit and orchestrations will guide them into the truth of their destiny.
Many times, children are attracted to paths that are not their chosen paths in GOD. Today however, we want to pray that our children will see clearly the marked paths of GOD for them and subsequently follow through. It is also very important that the Spirit that is found in the Cain generation (a wandering spirit, an approval-seeking Spirit and a looking-for-love in the wrong places spirit) has no place and hold on our children. We want to pray out every negative spirit influencing our young generation, derailing them from GOD’s plans.
There are also instructions and opportunities that our children have missed out on. We want to pray today that GOD will redeem the times for our children both young and old so they can catch up on the missing links of their lives.
Let us meditate on and pray with the following scriptures:
Isaiah 58:11 NKJV “The LORD will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.”
Psalm 32:8 “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.”
Psalm 25:5-9 ESV “Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; for You I wait all the day long. Remember Your mercy, O Lord, and Your steadfast love, for they have been from of old. Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to Your steadfast love remember me, for the sake of Your goodness, O Lord! Good and upright is the Lord; therefore He instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble His way.”
Let us pray:
• That our children will be guided by GOD’s Spirit
• That they will be led and taught by the truth of GOD.
• That our children will be taught and counselled by the LORD.
• That the LORD will send Godly teachers, mentors and coaches into the lives of our children.
• That our children will not miss out on nor depart from the path and instructions of GOD for them.
To your duty posts beloved parent-intercessors. May the Father hear and heed our requests this day and always because we have asked according to His word and in the name of His Son, our LORD JESUS CHRIST Amen.
