FAST FRIDAY FOR FIRSTBORNS FRIDAY 19TH NOVEMBER 2021 (THROWBACK PRAYERS FROM FRIDAY 19TH MAY 2017) THEME: GRACE FOR GREAT EXPLOITS TEXT: Daniel 11:32 “Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their GOD shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.”
A blessed day beloved mums, dads, parents and partners with GOD. I trust our night was well-rested and I am confidently assured that this 19th day shall yield its harvest for us in the name of JESUS CHRIST-Amen.The 19th day is an extremely special one to me because it is the LORD’s day wherein, month after month and year after year, I have seen marvelous moves and doings of our good GOD! The LORD by His Spirit opened my eyes of understanding and sensitized me to the wonders of the 19th day. So I encourage us not to take today as another ordinary day but to see this day with the eye of the Spirit so we may reach in to take delivery of all the LORD had loaded in it for us and all our children.You will agree with me that as a parent or guardian whom GOD has blessed with children, one of the most paramount things/desires/prayer in our hearts is to see our children become great in the true sense of the word! I mean, seeing the children doing great exploits, bringing honour to GOD and to their family name. Standing in good stead in every area of life! Hence, our prayer for our firstborns today cannot be shelved, neither should we excuse ourselves but rather, we are to latch on to this day as it is an unusual day of answers and open heavens. Praying for these set of children is actually praying for all our children because they are the arrowheads and when they are sorted, the grace runs down in the lives of their younger siblings.
INTIMACY WITH GOD IS ONE OF THE KEYS TO DOING EXPLOITS!
Let us pray Daniel 11:32 over our children that they will know their GOD intimately, be strong and consequently be able to do great exploits in life.
Father, we pray our children, and specifically, our firstborns whom You have instructed us to fast and pray for specially on Fridays. We pray that they will know You as Father, saviour and friend! We pray that with each passing day they will grow in intimacy with You! We pray that their relationship with You and Yours with them will cause a great mix of exploits in their world and generation! We pray that as Your very special possession, they will do You proud and bring glory to Your name through the great exploits they will accomplish for the good of mankind. We thank You that greatness is in our children’s DNA and Your hand causes them to do valiantly.
Our firstborns shall truly be first, head and never tail in life in the name of JESUS CHRIST! The hand of the LORD shall perpetually be upon them to steer the rudder of their lives’ ship in the right direction and they shall not be small-Amen!
Let us also declare the scripture below all through this day as we go about our day’s activities:
Isaiah 8:18 “Behold, I and the children whom the LORD has given me are for signs and wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, who dwells on Mount Zion.”
Let us take time to pray in the Spirit and in our understanding and as we do so, may GOD the Father, His Son and Spirit hear and answer us in the name of JESUS CHRIST-Amen! Joy unending shall be our testimony over our children. They shall be sources of comfort to us in all areas of life in the name of JESUS CHRIST-Amen!
