Welcome friend to our first anniversary post! Yaay!!!
Thanks for turning in here. This is where we come to gain understanding of the things we need to put in place and in proper perspective to enjoy the glorious life Father GOD has for us. Please do ensure you put in your comments. I would love to read your thoughts too.
This time last year, I didn’t know if my effort to start a blog on my birthday could be accomplished because even though I had harbored such a desire for many years, in the space of 24hours, GOD did the impossible and I was amazed at how GOD could turn things around in just a short time.
Gratitude is what you feel when you are so blessed like I am! I am especially grateful today for it is my birthday and the first anniversary of this blog! Though Wednesdays are blog days, I decided to wait till today Thursday to commemorate the anniversary. Indeed it is the LORD’s doing and it is marvelous in my eyes. I don’t take it lightly that GOD has helped me keep this blog running for one year. I am grateful that I haven’t given up on this dream and assignment. You know the feeling you get when something is novel and new and you are surmounting it? After a while, that feeling wanes and if one is not careful, one may find oneself abandoning ship!
Here I am today though, still going strong, not ready to quit on this course! This is why I am grateful to GOD dear friend. Beyond the blog, I am grateful for life and the things I have accomplished in the last 365days. I am grateful for the assurances I got from GOD earlier today! I am grateful to GOD that despite falling and failing in the course of the past year, my hope is still anchored on my LORD JESUS CHRIST! You see, HE’s got me! And guess what? HE’s got you too if you will give Him room to navigate your life. I am most grateful for the things that are yet to manifest and which would be birthed in their due season.
Hey, whatever you may be passing through right now, in and through it all, GIVE GOD THANKS! See as Colossians 1:12 captures it: “and giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of His holy people in the kingdom of light.” You and I have an inheritance in GOD’s kingdom! Let’s step into our roles in the scheme of GOD’s affairs. As we praise and thank the Father, as we express our heartfelt gratitude He reveals to us His heart, and as we are enabled to align in obedience, we reap the full rewards due us.
Child of GOD, I am encouraging you today to put on the cloak of gratitude! Like the Psalmist in Psalm 28:7, say to the Father, “The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise Him.”
Get your gratitude under way beloved! You are much loved and honoured!
