FAST FRIDAY FOR FIRSTBORNS

THEME: GRACE TO OVERCOME
TEXT: REVELATION 12:11 “And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.”
Blessings beloved parent-intercessors. It’s another beautiful Friday and time to come before the Father for the lives and destinies of our children, particularly our firstborns.
Today our assignment is simple and straightforward. We are asking our Father to equip our firstborns and by extension our other children with the grace of the overcomer! Irrespective of what life may throw at our children, all they can do is win or win because they are CHRIST’s.! The overcomer’s grace is to be desired and prayed into the life journeys of our children hence let us meditate on the following scriptures and be spurred to pray.
Revelation 2:1 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, to him I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and a new name written on the stone which no one knows but he who receives it.”
Revelation 2:26a “He who overcomes, and he who keeps My deeds until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations;”
Revelation 3:5 “He who overcomes will thus be clothed in white garments; and I will not erase his name from the book of life, and I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.”
Revelation 3:12 “He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name.”
Revelation 3:21 “He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.”
1 John 5:4-5 “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?”
John 10:28-30 “…and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.”
Let us pray:
• That our children will hear the sound that will lead them to overcome all life’s obstacles.
• That their new name will be Victorious Overcomers
• That our children will remain overcomers because of their professed love and journey in and with CHRIST.
• That their faith to overcome in all areas of life will remain intact.
To our duty posts beloved parent-intercessors. May the LORD heed us as we call to Him for our children’s lives and destinies. Please remember to pray in the spirit as well as in your understanding as you meditate on and pray with today’s scripture. Let us soak ourselves and all that the LORD has committed to us in these life-giving words.
