Blessings beloved,
I am assured that you are joining me right now as you read this, to give GOD thanks and praise for another privileged opportunity given for the gift of life. GOD our Father deserves all the praise and we thank Him for another lease of life this beautiful day.
Today, Abba wants us to be careful of a potent trap and bait of Satan – Offence! Folks, I enjoin you and myself today to remain unoffendable. Our LORD JESUS confirmed through scriptures that offence would indeed come but, we always have a choice, to either fall for it or walk away from it! Sometimes, it is difficult to ignore wrongs done to us but we must cultivate a heart of obedience to GOD’s word and His expectations of us as His children and disciples. Forgiveness is the way of life! Turning the other cheek when we are wrongly struck is the way of brokenness and obedience to our LORD’s instruction to us. I know it is sometimes extremely difficult but when we yield to our Father and we take it all up with Him in the place of prayer, fellowship and word digest, we receive the strength and enablement to do the seemingly impossible – forgive those who err against us and refuse to stay on the highway of offence!
Beloved, my prayer for you and I today as the Spirit highlights offence as something to steer clear of is: may we remain unoffendable no matter the provocation. May offence no longer be able to take root in our hearts. May we easily recognise and rise gallantly above every bait of offence thrown at us by the enemy. May we remain victorious over this pitfall from henceforth Amen and Amen.
