FAST FRIDAY FOR NIGERIA
FRIDAY 3RD MARCH 2023
THEME: DO THE MIRACULOUS IN NIGERIA O LORD
TEXT: EPHESIANS 3:20-21“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in CHRIST JESUS throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen”.
Blessings beloved. Welcome to the third month of the year 2023.
It’s another Friday, meaning an appointment day with the Trinity as we stand in the gap with prayers and fasting for our nation Nigeria. Yes! Our work over Nigeria is not yet done. In the wake of the outcome of our nation’s Presidential election just this past weekend, and with the Gubernatorial election coming up next weekend, we need to pray the more.
Today, I am led that we should ask the LORD for the miraculous in the affairs of our nation. Whatever area we desire the miraculous, let us lift our voices to the Father using the name of JESUS! We must continue to press Him in prayer as He prompts us to trust Him for the miraculous in our nation Nigeria. Today let us activate our faith via the word of GOD and the name of JESUS as we eliminate doubt, fear and anxiety. Let us remember that as children of GOD, there is power in our tongues and declarations.
LET US MEDITATE ON THE SCRIPTURES REFERENCED BELOW AND PRAY WITH THEM:
Job 5:9 “He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted”.
Father, perform wonders never before seen or heard of in our nation Nigeria. Make our nation a desirable place for the miraculous in JESUS’ name.
Isaiah 43:2 “When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze”
Father, we ask that this nation will not burn. Violence, injustice and wickedness shall have no room in our affairs in JESUS’ name.
Jeremiah 32:27 “I am the LORD, the GOD of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?”
Father, stretch forth Your miraculous arm and do the seemingly impossible in our nation Nigeria. (Mention specific areas where we need positive change and where we need to see results in the various states, sectors, parastatals etc)
To our duty posts beloved parent-intercessors. We pray that Abba would perfect the good works He has started with our nation and we would have answers of peace at the end of this season in our nation Amen. May the miraculous GOD, show Himself faithful in the affairs and administration of our nation. May the Father receive glory from the miracles He will do as we call on Him today for a better and changed Nigeria. Amen.
