FAST FRIDAY FOR FIRSTBORNS
FRIDAY 2ND APRIL 2021
THEME: BLESS MY FIRSTBORN WITH TRUE AND DIVINE RELATIONSHIPS O GOD
TEXT: 1 SAMUEL 18:3 “Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul.”
Blessings beloved parent-intercessors. All glory and honor we give to the GOD of our lives for His breath that is still in our nostrils. It is a happy new month from my end. Welcome to the first Friday in April. It is also the beginning of the second quarter of the year. Today is also Good Friday and so it is a very special, loaded and significant Friday. My prayer is that GOD will cause all things to become new for us as we walk in the victory our LORD has won for us at Calvary many centuries ago in the name of JESUS CHRIST Amen.
So, it’s another Friday to fast and pray for the lives of our children especially the firstborns. As we wait on the LORD for their sakes today, may there be answers from heaven and a sure and good reward for our labours-Amen.
Today, our focus will be on praying our children out of relationships that are not true to them. To be in the midst of friends who are actually enemies is a grave danger for them. We will be praying and asking the LORD to open the eyes of understanding of our children so they may truly know when they are in the midst of enemies disguised as friends. We will also pray grace for them to be able to exit carefully and safely from such. Our LORD was given away by one who ought to be a part of His trusted community. Thank GOD that though this was part of the script to bring mankind back to GOD, yet we do not want betrayer in the lives of our children.
GOD is able to perfect that which concerns our children’s relationships and that is our prayer today. Friendship in the name of the LORD is our prayer for them. We are also praying that betrayers will be exposed and exited out of their lives.
LET US PRAY:
Father, I thank You for blessed and true relationships for my children. Thank You for like minds of friendships.
Father, reveal every two-faced person around my children. Grant my firstborn a discerning spirit to be able to tell the true stand of people around him/her.
Matthew 22:15 “Then the Pharisees went and plotted how they might entangle Him in His talk.
Pray: LORD, expose everyone trying to lay a trap for my son/daughter. Let such a person fall into his/her own trap.
Proverbs 12:26 The righteous choose their friends carefully, but the way of the wicked leads them astray.
Pray: Father, grant my firstborn grace to choose his(her) friends carefully. Help him(her) with his(her) choice of friends.
Psalm 41:9 “Even my own familiar friend in whom I trusted, Who ate my bread, Has lifted up his heel against me.
Pray: Father, reveal and expose every backstabbing frenemy to my child. Father sanitize my children’s relationships.
To our duty posts beloved parent-intercessors. Let us remember that this is not an exhaustive manual but let us be encouraged to dig deeper by praying for more insights as we pray in our understanding and in the spirit. May grace and strength be multiplied to us all too as we wait on the LORD seeking His face-Amen.
JESUS is the only true friend that sticks closer than a brother, may our children enjoy divine and true friendships and covenant, heaven-approved relationships like that of David and Jonathan in the name of JESUS CHRIST Amen and Amen.
