FAST FRIDAY FOR FIRSTBORNS
FRIDAY 12TH MARCH 2021
THEME: CONSECRATE MY FIRSTBORN TO YOU O LORD.
Exodus 13:2 “Consecrate to me all the firstborn. Whatever is the first to open the womb among the people of Israel, both of man and of beast, is mine.”
Beautifully blessed day beloved mums, dads and parent-intercessors. Welcome to the second Friday in March 2021 and our eighth corporate Fast Friday in the year. We give GOD thanks for bringing us to and preserving us in the third month of the year and thank Him for the privilege given us and our children to be called by His name.
Today, we are praying a prayer of consecration for our firstborns. Please dedicatedly sing this hymn, using it as a prophecy for your firstborn. Please insert the name at the necessary points. An example is given with the first stanza.
1 Take my life (here insert your firstborn’s name) and let it be
consecrated, Lord, to thee.
Take my (his/her) moments and my (his/her) days;
let them flow in endless praise.
2 Take my hands and let them move
at the impulse of thy love.
Take my feet and let them be
swift and beautiful for thee.
3 Take my voice and let me sing
always, only, for my King.
Take my lips and let them be
filled with messages from thee.
4 Take my silver and my gold;
not a mite would I withhold.
Take my intellect and us
every power as thou shalt choose.
5 Take my will and make it thine;
it shall be no longer mine.
Take my heart it is thine own;
it shall be thy royal throne.
6 Take my love; my Lord, I pour
at thy feet its treasure store.
Take myself, and I will be
ever, only, all for thee.
Beloved, in Psalm 22 and verse 10, scripture says: “I was cast upon You from birth, From my mother’s womb You have been my GOD.”
Pray:
• Father my firstborn belongs to You, this day afresh, I ask that You be his(her) GOD. He(She) is consecrated to You, therefore lay claim to him(her) in the name of JESUS CHRIST Amen.
