THURSDAY PRAYER FOR OUR DAUGHTERS
THURSDAY 18TH FEBRUARY 2021
THEME: A LIFE OF BEAUTY, IMPACT AND JOY
TEXT: 1 PETER 3:3-4
“Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in GOD’s sight is very precious.”
A beautifully blessed day to us all dear parent-intercessors and all who favour the righteous cause of the daughters of GOD. Welcome to another Thursday opportunity to pray for our daughters. Its been an amazing month so far as GOD has helped us to return to our duty posts every Thursday to intercede for our girls/ladies/daughters.
Today, as we thank GOD for the lives of these beautiful daughters He has given us, our key prayer is that GOD will make their lives beautiful, impactful and joyful Amen!
Daughters are truly a gift and I believe that like me, your desire for your daughter(s) is that their lives would be unique and exceptional. This won’t just happen but amidst the myriad of things we do to position our daughters so they fulfil their GOD-ordained destiny, it takes a praying parent to many times cause this shift and engage the power and mandate of GOD in the spiritual realm so there can be physical manifestation(s) of GOD’s intent for them. Today I pray our voices rising up to heaven will bring the required shift and effect in our daughters’ lives and destiny-journeys in the name of JESUS CHRIST Amen.
Having meditated on our key text, let us pray the attendant prayers below:
Let us pray:
● That our daughters will be beautiful from inside out. That their beauty won’t be superficial but run deep.
● That the Holy Spirit will supernaturally give our daughters great and lasting joy, even when they face affliction and challenges.
● That our daughters’ joy will not be hinged on anyone or anything but that their joy will rest in GOD and be full in all situations and circumstances.
● That our daughters will live a life of impact even as they touch their world and generation for good and for GOD.
● That our daughters will bring colour, meaning and vibrancy to their world.
I leave us with the words of our LORD in the gospel according to John 15:11
“These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.”
To our duty posts beloved parents. I decree the fruitfulness of beauty, impact and joy in all respects of our daughters’ lives. May the LORD hear and answer our prayers Amen and Amen!
