FAST FRIDAY FOR FIRSTBORNS
FRIDAY 4TH FEBRUARY 2022
THEME: IGNITE THE FIRE OF LOVE FOR THE FATHER IN MY FIRSTBORN’S HEART O LORD
TEXT: ROMANS 12:11 NIRV “Never let the fire in your heart go out. Keep it alive. Serve the LORD.”
A beautifully blessed day to you beloved parent-intercessors. Welcome to February! Wcome to the month in which our firstborns and by extension our other children will be breaking new grounds by the mercies of GOD Amen. It’s our second corporate fast day in the year and we want to commend our children into the able hands of our LORD JESUS CHRIST even as we give Father GOD thanks and praise for His goodness to us and our family. Indeed, This 4th day of February, the LORD shall cause balance and celebrations to be the order of the day in our children’s livest in this new year which the mouth of the LORD has named our year of Greater Glory. By the grace of the Almighty, we as parent-intercessors shall be victorious on this weekly quest, our testimonies shall abound and our children shall be marvelously helped to take their place boldly, confidently and courageously in GOD’s scheme of affairs in this new year in the name of JESUS CHRIST Amen.
Today, we shall be asking the LORD for our firstborns and by extension our other children that the fire of love for GOD would burn brightly in their hearts. We want to pray that the altar of their hearts is repaired and filled with love. Our altar is in our heart and that’s where the fire of the LORD burns.
We want to ask today that repairs and restorations be made in the hearts of our firstborns and by extension our other children. For some, in order for the love of GOD to flow and have unhindered expressions, the state and altar of their hearts must be repaired and restored. Broken hearts, hardened hearts, unforgiving hearts, critical hearts, unbelieving hearts, etc must be addressed today. Whatever things that can hold our children back from enjoying the love of GOD in its fullness must be taken out. GOD our Father is the GOD of the heart and He desires clean, yielded hearts in us and our children.
Romans 5:5 says “And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.”
Let us pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our children’s hearts so they may be filled with the love of GOD.
Our key text today in the NIRV says, “Never let the fire in your heart go out. Keep it alive. Serve the LORD.”
Let us pray that the fire of love for GOD and His ways will not go out in our children’s hearts. Let us pray that they will love and serve the LORD all their days in the name of JESUS CHRIST.
Luke 3:16 NIV “John answered them all, “I baptize you with water. But one who is more powerful than I will come, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”
Let us pray: Father, baptize my children with Your Holy Spirit and with fire for the journey of 2022. Cause the fire on the altar of their hearts to burn with love for You and all You represent in the name of JESUS CHRIST Amen.
To our duty posts beloved parent-intercessors. May the LORD heed us as we call to Him for our children’s lives and destinies. Please remember to pray in the spirit as well as in your understanding as you meditate on and pray with today’s scripture. Let us soak ourselves and all that the LORD has committed to us in these life-giving words.
