FAST FRIDAY FOR FIRSTBORNS
FRIDAY 9TH JULY 2021
THEME: MAKE MY FIRSTBORN YOUR LIGHT AND GLORY TO HIS(HER) WORLD O LORD
TEXT: ISAIAH 49
Beautifully blessed day beloved mums, dads and parent-intercessors. Welcome to the second Friday in July. We honour our Father by giving Him thanks and praise for the good works of mercy and righteousness He is continually doing in the lives anď destinies of our firstborns and by extension our other children. This July, though things are a bit different, I pray that we will each encounter the Father in a unique way in the name of JESUS CHRIST Amen.
As we know, our firstborns are leaders, they are arrow-heads, they are the piercer of wombs as ordained by GOD hence today, we are praying for them as leading lights with this Word of the Father in Isaiah 49.
In verse 1, we see that like our LORD JESUS, our firstborns are called from their mother’s womb. From the 2nd verse, we see that they are gifted with specific resources meaning they have an assignment to carry out and also protected by the Father as seen in the last line of that verse. From verse 3, we see that our firstborns like the LORD JESUS CHRIST are GOD’s, His emissaries, ordained to bring Him glory!
Let us pray: Father, help my firstborn to live a life that counts in destiny. May his(her) path in life be according to Your ordained blueprint in the name of JESUS CHRIST. Cause my firstborn and by extension my other children to be a leading light to their world diligently carrying out their assignments for the glory of GOD and the good of mankind. Amen.
From verse 4 we see that this servant of the LORD was a bit discouraged but we see the Father’s response and intent to him in about nine verses, i.e verses 5 to 13 that GOD had his back and validated him by pouring out blessings on him and giving him clarity.
Therefore let us pray: That our firstborns and by extension our other children in moments of discouragement, despair and discomfort in carrying out the mandates of GOD for their lives will receive confirmations, clarity, courage, encouragement and blessings from the LORD so they are spurred to move ahead in life. We declare dear LORD that our firstborns will never be stuck, rather we pray them into advancements in seasons where the enemy throws arrows of discouragement at them. We pray that they recognise such seasons as kairos moments from GOD, set for their advancements as they take on the challenge gallantly.
In verse 14, we see that these voices of doubt continue in the servant’s heart and ears despite the Father’s reassurances to him. Here again, we see that Father GOD was not impatient with His servant and He released yet again blessings and divine promises upon His beloved servant He was engaging. This day, by the Words of life in verses 15 to 23, Father GOD engages and speaks these words into the destinies of our children. Halleluyah!!!
Let us therefore begin to declare over the lives and destinies of our firstborns and by extension our other children:
(Insert your child’s name) you will enjoy GOD’s unending compassion. You will never be forgotten by GOD Your Father.
You (Insert your child’s name) are inscribed upon the Father’s palm. Your walls are continually before the Father.
(Insert your child’s name) your children and builders make haste, your destroyers and those who laid you waste go away from you in the name of JESUS CHRIST!
Please continue from verse 18 and personalise these verses up till verse 23.
Our GOD is a GOD of perfection and He never leaves any loose ends. He is committed to His word as declared in Exodus 13:2 “Consecrate to Me all the firstborn, whatever opens the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and beast; it is Mine.” For this reason, because He wants peace on all sides for His anointed and appointed ones, He speaks judgement in verses 24 to 26 to all who will not allow His word be a light in the lives of our firstborns. Therefore as spoken from the mouth of the LORD, begin to declare:
• Father, I decree and declare that my firstborn and by extension my other children who are captives of the Mighty are hereby taken away and released from their bondage in any area of life that they are presently bound in the name of JESUS CHRIST Amen.
•Father, In whatever way or area of life that my firstborns and by extension my other children are preys in the hands of the terrible ones, I decree and declare that they are completely delivered today. Every child who is stuck in any quagmire of life is hereby removed from those toxic environments and set free in the name of JESUS CHRIST Amen.
•I decree and declare according to the Word of the Father that the LORD Himself contends with every contender of my children’s glory manifestation and today I decree every child of mine is saved by GOD in the name of JESUS CHRIST Amen.
•Yes! I also decree that every oppressor of my firstborn’s destiny advancement are being fed with their own flesh right now and they become drunk with their own blood. I declare that every evil meant for my children are converted and returned back to its sender and source by the power and authorityin the name of JESUS CHRIST Amen.
At this point, please sing the song: ???? There is power in the name of JESUS, to break every yoke, break every chain, break every chain!
Father, we thank You that today, this 9th day of July 2021, You will prove yourself to deliver and to save all the children of the parent-intercessors who cry out to You today for the lives of their children. Baba f’agbara Re han! (Father, manifest Your power in our children’s lives!) Thank You our Saviour and Redeemer. In JESUS’ name we have prayed and received answers of peace and victory Amen and Amen.
To our duty posts beloved parent-intercessors. May the LORD heed us as we seek His face with our prayers and fasting today Amen. Please remember to pray in the spirit as well as in your understanding as you meditate on and pray with these scriptures.
