Hello friend! Thanks for turning in here! This is where we come to gain understanding of the things we need to put in place and in proper perspective to enjoy the life Father GOD has for us. Please do ensure you put in your comments. I would love to read your thoughts too!

Today by the help of the Spirit of GOD, we are demystifying the gimmick concept! What is a gimmick? The Cambridge Dictionary defines the word “Gimmick” as something that is not serious or of real value that is used to attract people’s attention or interest temporarily, especially to make them buy something.

Ok! Let’s stop there! I believe that information and definition suffices for now. My point of interest and our focus today is: what gimmick are you constantly falling for? What lies are you believing? What untruths are you buying from the kiosk of the enemy? And by enemy here, I hope you understand that I am not referring to your in-laws, boss or that jealous friend? My reference is to the real culprit in the business of gimmicking-your adversary the devil the one who seeks who to devour on a daily basis!

Child of GOD, whatever lies the enemy of your soul may be hawking all around you, whatever gimmicks he may be parading and auctioning around, shut your eyes and ears to them! Allow the word of GOD to be stored up in your heart so that you may be able to recognize and separate the deceit that is being touted at you in exchange for GOD’s truth! It is the word of GOD that cleanses, refreshes and encourages hence, shore up the word of GOD in you so you may be liberated by your renewed mind. Scripture says in  John 8:32 ‘And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.’ Trust me, whatever the devil has is counterfeit! The real deal is and in GOD!

Know this, every drama the enemy brings on against you, either in your mind, physically or even spiritually is a lie! That’s what it is! You already are victorious but he would rather gimmick and trick you into thinking you are a loser who has no power or strength when all he is trying to do is make you relinquish your position of authority and victory and strength to him.

So, if you are on this floor of life, I say to you now like it was said to Tabitha: ARISE! Get up! Dust yourself off and begin your journey back to the victorious foundation/background/place where you are anchored! You are hooked to an anchor that holds within the veil!

Hebrews 6:19 says: “This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into GOD’s inner sanctuary.”

So go on! Go into the secret place! Go draw strength! You are anchored to the Father! No gimmick should be allowed to derail you!

Keep shinning beloved! Keep buying only the truth commodities from GOD! Don’t fall for the gimmicks! I love and honour you!
